• Understand features of a career site employers believe to be valuable & Understand features of a career site jobseekers believe to be valuable
• Understanding the behavior of employers around what is valuable for the client in terms of career site content, brand, features, and layout.
• What are the main things employers would want to have as features that are successful and valuable in those markets
• Understanding the behavior of candidates around perception on what a Talent Network means to them, as well as observing market specific behaviors on interaction with career sites.
• Explore the value of innovating by observing specific behaviors on key European markets.
Objective/ Hypothesis
• EMPLOYERS By understanding specific market needs from clients, we will be able to understand differences across EMEA and US markets
• JOB SEEKERS By understanding specific market behaviors, job seekers will have more value when interacting with our career sites on their specific market.
• By comparing what is valuable to job seekers and employers, we can determine the best strategy for our new Pro template.
Methodology
• Observe job seekers behaviors by asking them to show their preferred careers sites, understand how they consume that content and how they apply for jobs.
• Include a research activity such as card sorting or an engaging game like the “buy a feature activity” to stimulate participation, and focus to the testing session.
• Show job seekers several variations of the new Pro template and ask specific questions guided towards valuable areas of their job search experience
Goals
• Validate/ invalidate new pro template with employers and job seekers on these areas:
More branded experience (employer) | Valuable for these specific markets (jobseekers) | Resolve specific pain points
